Use

The Performance user menu of the DBA Cockpit contains a display of the database activities of the last four weeks.

You can only use the display for the basis database of the SAP system. These values are gathered from the last time database monitoring was started.

Procedure

Open the DBA Cockpit (transaction DBACOCKPIT) and choose Start of the navigation path Performance Next navigation step Activities History End of the navigation path.

Caution

For SAP NetWeaver 7.1, use the database assistant to call the Database Activities display.

Result

You receive information about database activities for the previous four weeks. You can set this output time frame. The database activity of the database is logged once a day by a collector (report RSCOLL00 executes the reports entered in table TCOLL for system monitoring), so that you can trace the activities in the specified output period.

You can choose from the following views:

  • SQL Commands: Total number of SQL statements, commits, rollbacks, prepares

  • Cache Activities: Cache hit rates, number of reads and writes to the database

  • Other Activities: Number of table scans, log activities, lock information

Delete Statistics Data

Deleting statistics data can be done manually by specifying a time period/date or automatically by specifying a time period (in weeks).
