Displaying the Archiving Status in the Search ResultsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can optionally configure the system to display the archiving status of the resources in the search results.

To make the archiving status of the resources available in the search results, you need to create an archiving status property filter and specify the Archiving Property Service in the configuration of each repository for whose content you want to display the archiving status.

Note

The feature is not supported for the archiving file system repository manager and the archiving WebDAV repository manager.

Prerequisites
  • You have the System Admin portal role assigned to your user.

  • The SearchResultLayoutSet layout set is used for displaying the search results.

  • The StandardSearchResultRenderer collection renderer is specified in the definition of the SearchResultLayoutSet .

  • You have created the respective indexes and assigned them to the corresponding repositories.

Procedure

After completing the configuration described below, you need to restart the system in order for the settings to take effect.

Creating an Archiving Status Property Filter

  1. In the portal, navigate to Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step System Configuration Next navigation step Content Management Next navigation step Repository Filters End of the navigation path.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Show Advanced Options Next navigation step Archiving Status Property Filter Next navigation step New End of the navigation path.

  3. Configure the parameters for the filter as described in the table below:

    Determines whether or not the filter is active

    Specification of the filter priority

    If multiple filters are applicable to a resource, the priority determines the order in which they are applied. A value of 1 indicates the highest and a value of 99 indicates the lowest priority. The default value is 1 .

    Repositories

    No

    Selection of repositories whose content is to be filtered.

    Select those repositories for whose content you want to display the archiving status parameter in the search results.

  4. Save your entries.

Specifying the Archiving Property Service in the Configuration of a Repository

  1. In the portal, navigate to Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step System Configuration Next navigation step Content Management Next navigation step Repository Managers End of the navigation path, and navigate to the repository for whose content you want to display the archiving status parameter in the search results.

  2. Open the object for editing, and select archprop in the Repository Services parameter.

  3. Save your entries.

Result

Once you have completed the configuration and restarted the system, the archiving status of the resource is displayed in the search results.
