Service for Registering Properties

The service for registering properties is used internally by the system to deliver properties for resource types.

The properties can come from different places, such as from the directory that contains the configuration data, from the repository framework, or from any other persistence.

 

The service is used for building the dialog box for selecting people (users), for instance. It enables the name of a person, the corresponding symbol, and certain context menu entries to be displayed.

 

The Service for Registering Resource Types is active.
