Use

Two prerequisites must be fulfilled so that data can be collected in the Central Performance History (CPH):

If you have made the assignments yourself (see Assigning Performance Values to Collection and Reorganization Schemata), the necessary job is automatically scheduled. In this case, you do not need to explicitly activate the CPH.

However, if you are simply want to use the collection and reorganization schemata delivered by SAP and the standard assignments of selected MTE classes to these schemata (see The Delivered Settings of the Central Performance History), you must activate the CPH yourself. In this case, the jobs are not automatically scheduled without confirmation so that no data is collected in the CPH without your knowledge and agreement.

Procedure
  1. 1.       To schedule the jobs for the CPH, choose Tools → CCMS → Configuration → Alert Monitorin the SAP Easy Access Menu, or call transaction RZ21.
  2. 2.       Choose Technical Infrastructure → Central Performance History → Background Jobs.
  3. 3.       If the jobs for data collection and reorganization are not scheduled, the system asks if you want to activate the CPH. Choose Yes to schedule the jobs and to activate the CPH.
  4. 4.       The screen Scheduling the Jobs for the Central Performance History screen appears. You can check the scheduling status of the jobs here.
    Note

You can also use the procedure if you have descheduled the collection and reorganization jobs (for example, during a maintenance period), and now want to reactivate these jobs
