
This monitor shows the number of internal server errors that have occurred on AS Java for the last 24 hours. If the monitor's value is bigger than 1 , you can easily detect that someone has requested an application or a service causing such an error. To indicate the relevant application/service, you can view the logs in the Log Viewer tool.
You have started SAP NetWeaver Administrator and use the System Overview application.
Viewing the Error Log Messages
In the HTTP Responses area, you can see the number of all internal server error messages within your AS Java.
Choose the monitor and from the context menu choose View Logs .
The Log Viewer tool is opened, showing a table with all the relevant error messages.
Detect the application that generates most internal server errors.
If the application is not important for your work, stop it, or add a negative filter within the Log Record Details pane.
Viewing the Monitor Chart
To see the error message chart, choose the Internal Server Errors monitor and from the context menu choose View History .
You can also change the alert thresholds. For this aim, from the monitor's context menu choose Configure Thresholds .
The Monitor Browser tool is opened and you can modify the thresholds within the Monitor Configuration area.
