Adapting the SAP Portal Look-and-Feel to Your Company BrandingLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

To achieve a unified look-and-feel in your portal, the colors and style of the content area of the SAP Portal should be aligned with that of your company portal. To achieve this, use the SAP Portal theme editor to create a new theme whose properties are identical to that of your company portal.

Note

Multiple themes are currently not supported.

Procedure

To create a new SAP Portal theme:

  1. Log on to the SAP Portal as a content administrator.

  2. Navigate to Start of the navigation path Content Administration Next navigation step Portal Display End of the navigation path. The Theme editor is displayed.

  3. Create a new theme based on one of the available themes that best matches that of your company portal.

To add the new theme to the Interop desktop and assign it as the default theme:

  1. From the SAP Portal, log on as a content administrator.

  2. Navigate to Start of the navigation path Content Administration Next navigation step Portal Display End of the navigation path. The Theme editor is displayed.

  3. In the Portal Catalog, navigate to the following folder: Start of the navigation path Portal Content Next navigation step Portal Users Next navigation step Standard Portal Users Next navigation step Interoperability Next navigation step Interop Desktop End of the navigation path.

  4. Open the Interop Desktop and add the newly-created theme to it.

  5. Make the new theme the default theme.
