
Garbage collector scheduler tasks are used in CM to remove garbage arising from delete operations in CM repositories or Web repositories from the database.

Garbage collector scheduler tasks must be active in a CM installation (load-balancing environment) for CM and Web repositories. In the standard delivery, the garbage collector scheduler tasks with the names WebGarbageCollector and CmdbGarbageCollector exist for this purpose.
