Specifying Build Tool and Repository LocationsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have loaded a development configuration and are now in the Configuration Service.

Procedure

  1. Select the Local Settings tab page.
  2. To specify the repository location, select the Repository Location checkbox under Repository and Build Tool Location and enter the path to the DTR in the following format: http://<host>:<port>/dtr or https://<host>:<port>/dtr .
  3. To specify the build tool location, select the Build Tool Location checkbox and enter the parth to the Build Tool Location in the following format: http://<host>:<port> or https://<host>:<port> .
  4. Depending on whether you make change to a standalone development configuration or one created in the TMS, the following applies for the communication user:

    • Standalone Development Configuration : Enter a communication user with the relevant password.

    • Development Configurations Created in the TMS : The communication user is displayed as write-protected. You can only modify the communication user and related password in the Transport Management System (transaction STMS ).

    Note

    The communication user must be created on the host and portof the DTR and the Build Tool Location specified above and have the required authorizations.

  5. To save the changes, choose Save .
