Configuring the Message OverviewLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can select the information to display in the message overview, sort the overview, and display more detailed information for individual messages.

Procedure

Task

Steps

Specify the number of messages to display.

Specify a number for Maximum .

By default, the overview displays up to 500 messages. You can display more messages if you desire.

Specify which columns to display.

  1. Choose Configure Table Columns .

  2. Select the desired columns from the overview.

  3. Choose Apply Settings .

Sort the message overview.

You can sort the message overview by columns that are marked with an arrow.

To sort the overview by a column, click the column heading.

Display detailed information for a specific message.

Click the icon for a message in the Details column.

All the available data for that message is displayed. This information includes the sequence number (if applicable), the retry interval, the address, the credential, and the transport headers

To display the raw data in a message, choose Display Message Bytes .

If message versions are available, choose Display Message Versions to display them.

Display the Audit Log.

Click the icon in the Audit Log column.

The Audit Log lets you track message processing. The history of message events is displayed with their status and timestamp.

Display referenced messages.

Click the icon in the Filter by Reference column.

Referenced and referencing messages are displayed.

To reset the message overview, choose Clear (extended filtering).

Resend or cancel a message.

If it is possible to resend or cancel a message, an icon is displayed in the Admin Action column.

Only messages with the status To Be Delivered , Not Delivered , or Waiting can be resent or canceled. Delivered messages cannot be resent or canceled.

Edit messages

You can only edit messages that were not delivered.
