You can also specify the export service time-out (in seconds).

Component Build Server

Activation Check-In

You can specify whether to start the activation of the activities directly after they have been checked in to the DTR.

Activation Intersection Dialog

Before an activity is activated, a check is performed to see if there are predecessor activities. The list of predecessor activities is shown in the Activation Intersection dialog. In this dialog you choose if you want to activate the activity. You can also choose if the predecessor activities are calculated on the basis of overlapping files, or based on the fact that they belong to the same DC. In addition, there is a checkbox that allows you to choose if the activation should take place even if the build fails.

Using the preferences page you can switch off this dialog. If you turn it off, the predecessor activities will be calculated on the basis of overlapping files or on the basis of the DC, depending on the last choice you made in the dialog.

If you have never made such a choice, the default behavior is calculation on the basis of the DC. The activation does not take place if the build fails.

DC Build

You can configure the local DC build options.

Design Time Repository

For information about setting up Design Time Repository perspective's preferences, see Managing Design Time Repository Preferences .

Development Component Infrastructure

Meta Model Merger

Allows you to customize the behavior when the system finds conflicting DTR files.

System Landscape Directory

Allows you to point to the location of the System Landscape Directory (SLD) you want to use to connect to the NWDI landscape. Once you specify the SLD URL, choose the Ping pushbutton to find out if you managed to successfully connect to the SLD.

If you want to encrypt the connection with the SLD, choose Load Certificate and select the certificate that is needed to secure the connection.
