In order to successfully perform the configuration of SAP NetWeaver Process Integration, additional post-installation activities need to be taken into consideration in order to configure the involved Application Server ABAP and Application Server Java. Which activities are relevant in particular, depends on the use case and technical prerequisites of your installation.

Choose the configuration structures Application Server ABAP and Application Server Java .

Note

When you have chosen the dual-stack installation option of SAP NetWeaver PI, consider the activities related to the configuration of Application Server ABAP and Application Server Java.

When you have chosen the Advanced Adapter Engine Extended, you only need to consider the activities related to the configuration of Application Server Java.
