Managing User SessionsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

The Users pane in System Overview enables you to view the number of all browser sessions opened by users. If you choose Sessions , you can navigate to the Session Management tool.

If the number of user sessions is too high, some of them might be inactive. To clear the inactive sessions, follow the procedure below.

Prerequisites

You have started SAP NetWeaver Administrator and use the System Overview application.

Procedure

  1. Go to Sessions and choose Manage Sessions from the context menu.

    The Session Management tool is opened.

  2. To determine all inactive sessions, choose the Active Requests Duration column as a filter (sorter).

  3. Go to a certain inactive session, select it and choose Terminate to stop it.

  4. You can refresh the list of sessions via the Refresh button.
