Monitoring Migration ProjectsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure

  1. In the migration projects maintenance screen (transaction RSMIGRATE), select the migration project and choose Display.
  2. In the migration project, press Display Logs.

    This screen displays the logs of the migration project executions in a tree view.

    The following table describes the structure of the log tree for a migration project:

    Log display level

    What is displayed on this level

    Used symbols and more information

    First level

    Execution of project - with date and time of execution and user

    : Execution in dialog box

    : Execution in background

    The status of the execution is indicated by traffic lights:

    : Migration project completed

    : Migration project terminated with errors or canceled

    Second level

    Execution step

    Note

    When the execution is run in the background, the system also shows the job name and the job log on the next level.

    : Step executed as migration

    : Step executed as recovery

    Third level

    Objects that are handled in the execution step

    : Object is exported

    : Object was restored

    : Object was created

    : Object was adjusted

    : Object was deleted

    Fourth level

    Messages for an object

    : Action successful

    : Action failed

    : Information
