Analyzing Precalculations

Context

The Queue tab displays an overview of the completed precalculations and allows you to analyze them according to various criteria. You can see which workbooks have been used in which precalculations and whether or not the precalculations have run successfuly. You can also see how long each precalculation took to process.

Procedure

Select the workbook that you want to analyze and choose Start Workbook.

BEx Analyzer starts automatically and displays the opened workbook so that you can check how the precalculation will appear.
To set timeouts for precalculation of a workbook, select the workbook in question and choose Add Element to Timeouts.

If necessary, contact the user who triggered precalculation of the workbook. By double-clicking the user name, you can view details, such as the user's e-mail address.
If required, delete entries from the queue.

Multiple selections are possible.
To view the statistics, choose Statistics.
- Queue: The queue statistics contain a bar chart showing the number of precalculations that are open, currently being processed, successful or failed.
- Duration: Unter Duration, the system displays a bar chart showing the average processing time for each precalculation server.
