Viewing Application LogsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

Open SAP NetWeaver Administrator and choose Start of the navigation path Operations  Next navigation step Systems Next navigation step Application Manager End of the navigation path .

Context

This procedure allows you to view the logs of an application via navigation to the Log Viewer tool.

Procedure

  1. From the Show dropdown box, choose a functionality depending on the type of applications you want to monitor.
  2. Go to the Summary tab.
  3. Concerning the type of related logs you want to display, choose:

    • View logged startup errors

    • View related logs containing errors

    • View all related logs

  4. The Log Viewer tool is opened where you can view the application related logs.
