
The following standard users are available for installation option Advanced Adapter Engine Extended (PI-AEX).
Dialog users represent human users (as opposed to service users), who log on through the various user interfaces of the different components of SAP NetWeaver PI, such as, the Enterprise Services Repository, Integration Directory, and System Landscape Directory.

Customers can create their own users and grant authorizations by assigning the corresponding roles.
The user is recommended to explicitly log out of the PI tools when not in use (for example, the Enterprise Services Repository, Integration Directory, and the Eclipse-based PI configuration and design tools).
Service users enable secure communication between SAP NetWeaver PI and other components.

<SID> is the system ID of the corresponding SAP system.
Default users are available initially after installation of SAP NetWeaver PI and provided with extensive permissions, for example, for administrators.
The following default users are available:
Administrator
Anonymous
Guest
It is recommended that you copy default users immediately after installation just in case a default user becomes locked accidentally. Also change the passwords of default users as soon as possible to prevent unwanted users from logging in with maximum permission.
