Transport packages are created automatically when portal users create areas in Web Page Composer. The transport package is given the same name as the area, and is located in a folder with the same name as the folder in which the area is located. Portal users can also create transport packages containing the entire contents of a folder, including a number of areas. Both published and unpublished content is added to the transport package.
A complete transport of Web Page Composer content contains the following:
The transport package created automatically when the area was created, containing all of the area's pages and areas, or the transport package containing the entire contents of a folder.
You can find the transport packages in the following location in the Portal Catalog: .
For more information, see Creating Transport Packages .
We recommend not removing anything from Web Page Composer transport packages. Removing objects could invalidate the transported content.
Any relevant portal roles.
For more information about portal transport, see Transporting Portal Objects .
If the area contains shared KM content, transport the KM content using the KM transport method. To export the Globally Unique Identifiers (GUIDs) for the objects from the source system, select the GUID parameter. The transfer of the GUIDs is necessary when transporting Web content that was created in Web Page Composer.
