The user account you use should be assigned to one of the Process Integration monitoring roles. For more information about which roles allow you to view and modify messages, see Monitoring Roles .
To convert IDoc XML payload to IDoc format, the IDoc adapter requires the metadata for the respective IDoc type. If this data is not available, you must load it from the sender or receiver system (or from the corresponding SAP reference system, if this system is a subsystem). You can load, display, and delete metadata using the IDoc monitor.
The system loads the specified IDoc type and displays the result in a table. This table contains information about all the IDoc types available in the cache. You can choose which information should be displayed by filtering the results, refreshing the table, or setting the number of rows to be displayed.
In case you want to delete one or more IDoc types from the cache, you can select them and choose the Delete button. To select multiple entries in the table, hold the Ctrl button while selecting the entries.
