Maintaining Inbound DistributionLocate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure
  1. Call transaction SO28.

  2. Define the distribution of incoming documents:

    1. In the Recipient column, enter the recipient address with which the external document will arrive in the SAP system. A recipient address can be an RML address, a fax number, or an Internet address, for example. You can define generic entries with * as the wildcard for a character string. AND operators are used between the Sender and Recipient columns.

If you enter * in this column, there are no restrictions with regard to the recipient address. You are therefore confirming that all incoming documents of a certain type should be forwarded to a new recipient within the SAP system.

    2. In the Address Type column, use the input help to specify the type of incoming recipient address.

    3. In the New Recipient column, enter the recipient within the SAP system to which the incoming document should be forwarded. Wildcard entries are not permitted here.

    4. In the Address Type column, use the input help to specify the type of the new recipient address.

    5. If you want the incoming document to be sent to both the original recipient and the new recipient, select the Additional Selection column.

    6. In the Sender column, you can use the incoming sender address to define inbound distribution. You can define generic entries with * as the wildcard for a character string. AND operators are used between the Sender and Recipient columns.

    7. In the Address Type column, use the input help to specify the type of the incoming sender address.

    Note

If you define an Alternative Entry , only specify the communication method (address type of the recipient), address, and address type of the new recipient. In this case, you do not have to enter a recipient, sender address, or address type for the sender.

  3. Choose .

Example
