Use

VMC profiling provides an overview of all the profiling sessions currently saved on the application server. The overview displays the following information:

  • Status of the session: Closed or open

  • Name of the session (assigned when it is created)

  • Client: System client in which the profiling data was collected

  • User Name: System user name under which the data was collected

  • Date created: Date and time the data collection

  • Directory: Path name of the directory where the profiling data is stored.

Managing Sessions

Standard operations (refresh, delete, print, set, help, and so on) can be performed using the toolbar buttons for the overview table.

For most of the operations you can only select one session. To select a session, you click on the table line.

From the application toolbar you can:

  • Create and start a new session

  • Display the analysis parameters of an existing session

  • Use the analysis parameters from an existing session to create a new session

  • Close a running profiling session

  • Delete closed profiling sessions
