Working in Change Mode

You work in change mode whenever you want to make alterations to table entries instead of just displaying them.

To display the table entries you wish to change, proceed as described in the display mode section.

You then carry out the following steps to change the entries:

1. Switch to change mode in the maintenance transaction.

2. Select the data you wish to change.

3. Edit the relevant data.

   You can:

   • Edit a transport request

   • Create new entries

   • Copy table entries

   • Delete table entries

   • Change table entries

   • Maintain time-dependent entries

   • Create and maintain addresses

   • Maintain language-dependent texts

   • Compare and adjust table entries

4. Create a table extract containing your changes and check their accuracy.

5. Undo any wrong entries.

6. Save your changes.
