You can perform the following activities in all implementation guides:
Read IMG documentation
To read the description of the nodes in the IMG structure, double-click the structure title or click the Documentation symbol (for the IMG activity) beside the structure title.
Editing Documents
You can change documents in the implementation guide without changing the original. You must have chosen Display Text with SAPscript.
Click the Documentation Symbol (for the IMG activity) beside the structure title for which you want to change the documentation.
The document is displayed in read mode.
Choose Edit pushbutton.
or theThe document is displayed in edit mode.
Make your text changes.
Save the document with
actively.Saving creates a new document with the documentation type Modification. The original document remains unchanged with documentation type Original.
Set the processing status to final version.
The Modification document is displayed instead of the Original.
Running Customizing Transactions
To make customizing settings, click the Perform IMG Activity symbol beside the structure title. You go to the associated Customizing transaction.
Activate or deactivate Business Add-Ins (BAdIs)
To activate or deactivate Business Add-In (BAdIs) in your system with BAdI Implementations delivered by SAP, choose Execute in front of the name of the BadI implementation.
Enter status information
You enter status information in Execute Project. For more information, see Status Information.
Create Project Documentation
You enter project documentation in Execute Project.

Printing the Implementation Guide
You can either print the structure of the entire IMG, or you can print the IMG documentation or the project documentation for individual structure nodes. For more information, see Printing in the IMG.
Position Cursor
Use this function to display the hierarchy structure from the cursor position.
Position the cursor on the structure title for which you want to display the hierarchy structure.
Choose Position pushbutton.
