With this program you can regenerate all generated maintenance dialogs in a transport layer, a package or the area of responsibility of a developer, with just a few mouse clicks. The generation affects the same sources as the Regeneration via the Generate Table Maintenance Dialog Transaction. The generated maintenance screens are not changed.
Selection
Selection Option
Selection by person responsible, packages, views/tables, and function groups
Enter a transport request
If function groups whose generated sources need to be renewed are locked in another request, they are not processed and are flagged in a list at the end.
List format
The Reduced List Output flag restricts the list to objects which could not yet be regenerated for some reason and therefore require further processing.
Recommendation: Leave the flag set.
Standard variants
Run the program in the foreground
A screen with four lists in tabs appears:
Generatable and transportable function groups can be regenerated and written in the previously-specified transport request by choosing the pushbutton under the Table Control.
Local function groups can be regenerated by choosing the pushbutton under the Table Control.
Locked function groups can only be processed by the owner of their transport request.
Not generatable in this system function groups have a different original system in which they must be processed.
Run the program in the background
If a lot of function groups are to be generated at once (for example, all from one original system) you should run the program as a background job. The values in the tabs in foreground runs are output in a list.
