IMG structure header data

You can get management information about a selected structure under  Goto  IMG Structure Header Data  Display or Change  in the IMG structure maintenance initial screen. The management information is:

• Structure creator and creation date

• Changer and change date

• Structure title

• Original language

• Structure and node type

• Structure buffering

You can switch buffering on or off in change mode. When buffering is active when you save the IMG structure all nodes, texts and links are also saved in the buffer to improve the performance of the structure display. You can refresh the contents of the buffer regularly with  Edit  Refresh Buffer .

Object Directory Entry

You can display or change the object directory entry (TADIR entry) for a selected structure with  Utilities  Object Directory Entry . The object directory entry contains:

• Object name

• Package

• Person responsible

• Original system

• Original language

You can display other structure attributes with the Object Attributes icon.

Namespace names in IMG activities

This function goes to the system administration in the IMG. Customers can specify their own namespace under the node Specify namespace for report tree migration and customer IMG activities if they want to create their own IMG activities in Customizing.

Extra processing of attributes, maintenance objects, and IMG activities

Each IMG structure object can be edited either in the structure maintenance or in an extra transaction. The extra maintenance transactions have where-used lists and delete functions in addition to the IMG structure editing functions.

To edit attributes, maintenance objects or IMG activities with the extra maintenance transaction, choose  Environment  Edit Attributes, Environment  Edit Maintenance Objects  or  Environment  Edit IMG Activities  in the IMG structure maintenance initial screen.
