Importing an Updated Project into the Rules Composer

Prerequisites

You should have a running application server.
You should have done the following:
- Set access control for a business rules project .
- Assigned the action: SAP_BRM_DOWNLOAD_RULES to the role, you created. More Information: Setting Authorizations in Business Rules Management .

After you make changes to a project in the rules manager, you can import the updated project in the rules composer.

In SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio, open the Rules Composer perspective.
In the Project Explorer view, in the context menu of the Project Resources node, choose Download Runtime Version .
In the dialog box that appears, accept default location or choose the Browse button to change the default location.
Choose OK .
In the dialog box that appears, enter the username and password that you created for logging into the rules manager.
Choose OK .

You should see a dialog box displaying the location of the project.
Unzip the project and copy the src folder.
In the Project Explorer view, in the context menu of the rules composer DC, choose Explore in File System .
In the explorer that appears, paste the updated src folder.
