Use

You can create BC Sets:

  • Using the IMG hierarchy

    The system displays the IMG structure from which you can select your Customizing activities. Call the activities in a business process and copy all the values which are relevant for the control of the process. For more information, see Create BC Set Using IMG Hierarchy.

  • by collecting BC Sets

    A BC Set can comprise several other BC Sets. You can construct complex BC Sets for industry sectors or a group rollout from smaller BC Sets. These are called hierarchical BC Sets. For more information, see Create Hierarchical BC Set.

  • Using a transport request

    You can base a BC Set on existing transports. In certain systems, every changed record is recorded in a transport request. A BC Set can be based on this transport request. BC Sets created in this way must usually be edited. For more information, see Create BC Set Using Transport Request.

Activities

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Tools Next navigation step Customizing Next navigation step Business Configuration Sets Next navigation step Maintenance End of the navigation path in the SAP menu, or enter the transaction code SCPR3 in the command field.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Bus.Conf.Set Next navigation step Create End of the navigation path.

  3. Enter a name and a short text for the BC Set.

    Note

    Customers' BC set names begin with Y or Z. This ensures that they are not overwritten by BC Sets delivered by SAP.

  4. Choose one of the three options IMG Hierarchy, Collection of Bus.Conf.Sets and Transport Request, and Continue.
