Checking ProjectsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You use the project check to check the consistency of forms and controls in an XML Forms Builder project. The system issues the messages in the table below in the info area.

Message Type

Description

Error

Error messages indicate that the project may not work.

You can generate the project even if there are error messages, but you should eliminate the errors in question and then generate the project again.

Warning

Warnings indicate that the project should work. However, they contain important information that you should pay attention to.

Information

Messages of this type serve only to provide you with information.

Procedure


  • To start a project check manually, choose Start of the navigation path Extras  Next navigation step Check Project. End of the navigation path

  • To define whether you want the system to start a project check when you save or generate a project, choose Start of the navigation path Options  Next navigation step Project End of the navigation path and activate or deactivate the Check Project on Save option.

    Note

    When you click a message in the info area, the system highlights the affected control in the form.

    Note

    If you receive a message telling you that labels in your project allow HTML output, read HTML Code in Label Controls .
