Defining Access Permissions in the PortalLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

Make sure that access permissions have been defined for the portal objects listed below.

Procedure


  1. Log on to the portal.

  2. Define access permissions for BW system SAP_BW in the portal landscape.

    1. Select the system previously created under Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step System Landscape  Next navigation step  Portal Content End of the navigation path.

    2. Find the BW system in the Portal Content and choose Start of the navigation path Open Next navigation step Authorizations  End of the navigation path in the system context menu.

    3. Search for user group Everyone and add it to the table of assigned permissions.

    4. Under Administrator , enter None and select the End User field.

    5. Save your entries.

  3. Define the access permissions for the security zones low_safety and high_safety .

    1. To do this, choose Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step Authorizations  Next navigation step  Portal Content  Next navigation step  Security Zones Next navigation step sap.com  Next navigation step  NetWeaver.BI Next navigation step  low_safety End of the navigation path.

    2. Choose Open Permissions in the low_safety context menu.

    3. Search for user group Everyone and add it to the table of assigned permissions.

    4. Under Administrator , enter None and select the End User field.

    5. Save your entries.

    6. Choose Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step Authorizations  Next navigation step  Portal Content  Next navigation step  Security Zones Next navigation step sap.com  Next navigation step  NetWeaver.BI Next navigation step  high_safety End of the navigation path.

    7. Choose Open Permissions in the high_safety context menu.

    8. Search for user group Everyone and add it to the table of assigned permissions.

    9. Under Administrator , enter None and select the End User field.

    10. Save your entries.

  4. Define access permissions for iView BEx Web (RRI) .

    1. Choose Start of the navigation path Content Administration  Next navigation step Portal Content Management Next navigation step Portal Content  Next navigation step Content Provided by SAP  Next navigation step Platform Add-Ons Next navigation step  Business Intelligence  Next navigation step iViews  Next navigation step  BEx Web (RRI) End of the navigation path.

    2. Choose Start of the navigation path Open  Next navigation step Permissions End of the navigation path in the BEX Web (RRI) context menu.

    3. Search for user group Everyone and add it to the table of assigned permissions.

    4. Under Administrator , enter None and select the End User field.

    5. Save your entries.
