Use

You can use the HTML editor to create or change texts with simple formatting online. This is a 'what you see is what you get' editor.

Prerequisites

For an overview of the supported browsers, see the corresponding section of the Product Availability Matrix (PAM) on SAP Service Marketplace . If you use a different browser, the text editor appears instead.

The repository that the file is stored in must support properties, or the application property service ( properties ) must be active. For more information, see Application Property Service .

To have the HTML files that you create with the HTML Editor displayed using the portal styles, the HTML filter for portal style sheets with the name portalStyle must be active for the repository. For more information, see HTML Filter for Portal Stylesheets .

Note

You can only use the HTML editor to edit HTML files that you created online. If you edit an HTML file locally, you will not be able to edit it with the HTML editor later on.
