Metadata is information about documents, folder, or other items in KM repositories. This information is stored in the properties of the item in question. Depending on the settings configured by your system administrator, metadata can, for example, contribute to making it easier to find documents during searches.
Integration
If you are working with query-based taxonomies, entering metadata is the prerequisite for classifying documents in categories. For more information, see What Does Query-Based Classification Mean? .
You have write permission for the item for which you want to edit the properties.

The properties are displayed on several tab pages. The tab pages and properties that are displayed depend on the resource type of the item in question. Click all tab pages and edit the data.
