From SAP NetWeaver '04 Support Package Stack 11, KM notifications are displayed in the universal worklist. Therefore the KM Recent Notifications iView is no longer displayed in the standard delivered content. However, you can continue to use the iView template.

Features

The Recent Notifications iView gives users an overview of current notifications on certain events that have taken place in Knowledge Management, for example, changes to documents they have subscribed to. Users are also requested to take certain actions, such as to approve documents to be published. This is part of the approval workflow. The list of notifications is determined individually for each user.

Maximum number of items per section

Maximum number of notifications to be displayed in the initial dialog box of the Recent Notifications iView in each section (for example, three subscriptions, three pieces of feedback, and so on). If there is a greater number of notifications for any one section, these notifications can be displayed in a separate iView by clicking on the title of the section in question.

Only display notifications for this folder

You can use this property to restrict the contents of a list to a particular area. Specify a repository, or the path to a folder in a repository. The iView only displays notifications for items that are in the specified folder or its subfolders. Leave the field entry if you want notifications for items from all repositories to be displayed (default).
