Viewing Database Connections

The Database Connections function enables you to view the waiting and timed-out database connections as well as their usage.

• The Timed Out function shows the total number of hanging connections to the database.

• The Usage function shows the usage rate of the database connection.

  The Waiting function shows the total number of processes waiting for connection to the database.

You have started SAP NetWeaver Administrator and use the System Overview application.

To manage problems with the database connections, choose Manage SQL Connections from the context menu of each function and go to the Open SQL Monitors application.
