Setting the Logon Language

Since the SAP system supports multiple languages, a language must be specified as part of the logon procedure.

When you log on to the SAP system via the SAP GUI for Windows, you usually have to enter your user name, password, and a logon language.

When you access the SAP system by clicking on a URL in a Web browser, you have to provide similar logon information, including a logon language.

If you start a Web transaction, the ITS uses the logon language from the SAP system.

The language used when logging on to SAP system is the same language used for all HTMLBusiness templates belonging to a service.
