ITS Service Description

Each Web transaction must have one service description, which is the set of parameters that defines how the service runs. The service description is stored in the relevant service file.

Additionally the service must be known to the Internet Communication Framework. Therefore it is nessecary to define the service in a separate step within the transaction SICF.

The main service parameters define essential information such as:

• SAP transaction name

• Service specific parameters

You create the service description by defining a service in the Web Application Builder. After creating the file, you can always edit the service description manually if required.
