Displaying Individual Detailed DataLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have started the Runtime Workbench and have chosen Performance Monitoring .

Context

Display of the individual detail data on the performance of message processing in a specific PI component.

In addition to the aggregated detailed data for a specific combination of sender, receiver, and interface, depending on the component, the time of specific processing steps is recorded here for each individual message by a time stamp.

Procedure

  1. In the Display field, select Individual Detailed Data from the dropdown list box.

  2. Select the data source, the component that you want to use, the processing mode, and the time interval.

  3. Choose Extended Search and specify sufficient attributes to identify the sender and receiver uniquely.

  4. To save the displayed data in a local file as values separated by semicolons, choose Save and enter a corresponding directory.

  5. Choose Start .

Results

The system displays the messages that meet the specified search criteria. The display returns the following results:

Column

Description

Message ID

ID of processed message

Size

Size of processed message

First and last time stamp (absolute and relative)

Absolute: First and last time stamp of message processing in absolute units.

Relative: Relative to the first time stamp of the first selected message, in seconds.

Processing Time

Difference between last and first time stamp in seconds

<Time Stamp>

A number of time stamps (differs according to the type of processing) that each return a specific time of processing, relative, in seconds, to the first timestamp.

Note

If a message is processed on several systems and the clocks of these systems are not synchronized exactly, this can result in negative processing times.
