Use

You can use the monitor for monitoring the PI runtime cache to display the cache status of the following PI cache instances in the Integration Directory:

  • Central and Non-Central Adapter Engines

  • Integration Server (ABAP Cache)

  • Business Systems with Web Service Communication

  • Mapping Runtimes

The monitor for monitoring the PI runtime cache is not part of the CCMS Alert Monitor for PI. Call it using transaction CCMS Monitoring (RZ20) and navigate to Start of the navigation path SAP J2EE Monitor Templates Next navigation step All Systems  Next navigation step J2EE Applications Next navigation step <server_name>  Next navigation step PI Runtime Caches End of the navigation path. There you will find a list of the PI cache instances available.

Cache Status

Sub tree with current cache status.

This involves a consolidated status that returns the worst status of cache notification and cache refresh for the last three hours.

If the last refresh of the cache is longer than three hours ago, the last available status is shown.

Timestamp of Last Refresh

Sub tree with the time of the last cache refresh.

The Java System Report Monitor Browser returns the cache status data.

You find this report in SAP NetWeaver Administrator under Start of the navigation path Availability and Performance Monitoring Next navigation step Resource Monitoring Next navigation step Java System Reports  Next navigation step Report: Monitor Browser End of the navigation path. There choose Start of the navigation path Server <name> Next navigation step Applications Next navigation step PI Runtime Caches End of the navigation path.
