Adapter-Specific Security Settings

This section describes security-relevant aspects of adapters. Each adapter is configured by an adapter-specific configuration for both the inbound (sender) side (scenario (s3) in Service Users for Message Exchange ) and the outbound (receiver) side (scenario (r3) in Service Users for Message Exchange ). You make these configuration settings in a sender agreement for the inbound side and a receiver agreement for the outbound side, together with adapter-specific channels referenced in the agreements.

Security settings can be configured for the following types of adapters:

• Adapters running on the Integration Engine

• Adapters running on the Advanced Adapter Engine

• Adapters running on the Adapter Engine (Java SE)
