You can create a new logon group in one of the following ways:
Create a new logon group with no settings;
You then configure the cluster instances and the applications that are part of this group from scratch.
Create a new logon group by copying an existing one;
You then modify the settings of the original group. This is a useful method, for example, in case you need your new group to include the same cluster instances but a different application must be accessible within it.
Creating a New Logon Group
On the Logon Groups tab page, choose Create .
Create Dialog screen appears. Enter the name of your logon group in New Logon Group Name .
From the System Name dropdown list box, choose the system this logon group is created in.
Choose OK .
Copying an Existing Logon Group
On the Logon Groups tab page, select a logon group from the list that you want to copy.
To create the logon group with the same settings, choose Copy .
Create Dialog screen appears. Enter the name of your logon group in New Logon Group Name .
Choose OK .
