Editing of Requests with Archived Administration DataLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

If you want to edit a request, that is, change it at runtime by writing data to it, for which the administration data has already been archived, the system reloads this administration data into the administration and log tables in BW.

Data is reloaded automatically if the process that has write access to the request is running in the background. If the process is running in dialog mode, a dialog box appears and you are asked whether you want to reload the administration data for the request. If the system cannot reload the administration data, or you choose Cancel, the system terminates processing and you cannot execute the required function.

To prevent the system from terminating the reload, the ADK must be able to access the archive files at all times.
