Scheduler

You use the scheduler for the load process to define the parameters for the data transfer for a particular DataSource. You specify which data (flow data, master data, texts, or hierarchies) from which DataSource, and from which source system, is requested and written to the BW entry layer, the Persistent Staging Area.

For the data request, you create an InfoPackage for a DataSource in the scheduler. You specify in the InfoPackage the parameters for scheduling the data request for a DataSource.

We recommend including InfoPackages in the process chains that automate the processes in the Data Warehouse.
