Defining Client Administration in the BW SystemLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You use this function to define the properties of client-dependent and client-independent objects when changes or transports take place.

Procedure


  1. In the SAP Menu, choose Start of the navigation path Tools Next navigation step  Administration Next navigation step  Administration Next navigation step  Client Administration Next navigation step Client Maintenance.  End of the navigation path The Display Clients: Overview screen appears.

  2. Choose Display -> Change.

  3. Select your clients and choose Details.

  4. Specify a standard currency.

  5. Enter Customizing for the role of the client.

  6. Check the settings for changes and transports.

    Note

    If you want to transfer the settings using BC Sets, you have to select the options Automatic Recording of Changes and Changes to Repository and Cross-Client Customizing Allowed.

  7. Save your settings.
