Setting Device Types for Format ConversionLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

In the case of printer-dependent output formats, you have to specify the device type for which the format is to be converted.

Procedure

  1. In SAPconnect administration (transaction SCOT), choose Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step Device Types for Format Conversion End of the navigation path.

  2. Specify for each printer-dependent format (PDF, PCL, PS, and TXT) the device type that is to be used for the formatting.
