Setting Automatic Start of Data Collection MethodLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

The periodic execution of a data collection method has to be explicitly started after each restart of the SAP system. You can execute the method manually each time or configure the system so that the scheduled method is started automatically.

Procedure


  1. In the display of a SAP Business Communication monitor, choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Settings and Methods End of the navigation path.

  2. In the Methods frame, select Method Definitions.

  3. In the Methods frame, choose Display Overview.

    A list of all method definitions is displayed.

  4. Select the method name SAPconnect by double-clicking it.

  5. Switch from display to change mode.

  6. On the Control tab page, select Execute Method Immediately After Start of Monitoring Segment.

  7. Save the dialog.
