Checking the Hardware and Operating System of the Host System (IBM i)

Using the program sappfpar, you can check the profile of an application server and the hardware resources of the host.

On iIBM i, use the following syntax:

call pgm(sappfpar) parm( 'check' 'pf=/usr/sap/<SYSTEM NAME>/SYS/profile/<Profile name>' 'nr=<System number>' 'name=<System name>')

Profile name is the profile name used by the corresponding application server.

Program sappfpar is in the kernel library.

If you work with the Edit Profiles function (Transaction RZ10), you can begin the error check using the Check function on the initial screen.
