Working with Transaction WP3R

Transaction WP3R performs all the functions for the maintenance and follow-up processing of the roles and user assignments that were copied from the portal.

To maintain the role and user data:

1. Start transaction WP3R.

2. Choose one of these options:

   Maintaining Authorization Roles	Assigning Authorization Roles To Users
   Select the Maintain Authorization Roles function and choose Execute . A report is executed, which displays all available portal roles hierarchically. For each portal role, the following information is displayed: The logical system for which there are services Existing authorization roles with their inheritance relationships	Select the Assign Authorization Roles To Users function and choose Execute . A report is executed, which displays the following information for each user hierarchically: Portal roles assigned to the user in the portal Logical systems whose services are accessed by the portal role Derived authorization roles

3. In the general settings for transaction WP3R, you can define whether the portal roles appear hierarchically according to the hierarchy in the portal catalog. In addition, you can define whether only lines with messages appear.
