eCATT Objects

You can find out which eCATT objects depend on each other. For example, you might want to find out what other objects will be affected when you change the interface of a test script. On the eCATT initial screen, specify the object and choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Where-Used List Next navigation step eCATT Object End of the navigation path.

It is also possible to search for objects that are not used by other eCATT objects. On the eCATT initial screen, choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Where-Used List Next navigation step Display Unused eCATT Objects End of the navigation path.

Target Systems

You can find out where a particular target system is used. On the eCATT initial screen, choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Where-Used List Next navigation step Target System End of the navigation path.

Parameters and Variants

A test script parameter is considered used if in:

  • The test script itself in the script text or command interfaces.

  • Another test script where the parameter in the REF command interfaces has a parameter or fixed value assigned to it.

  • A variant of a test configuration where the parameter has a value assigned to it.

A test data parameter is considered used if in a variant of a test configuration a reference is made to the parameter.

On the eCATT initial screen, specify the relevant eCATT object and choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Where-Used List Next navigation step Parameters End of the navigation path.

Test data containers and test configurations contain variants. On the eCATT initial screen, specify the relevant eCATT object and choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Where-Used List Next navigation step Variant End of the navigation path.
