Headerless Navigation

You can determine where and how content is displayed during portal navigation by configuring the Launch in New Window property in iViews and pages. One of the options is to open a separate headerless portal window. In this headerless page, you can perform the tasks that the displayed application allows, and then return to the main page, without navigating away from the page.

The headerless window provides a navigation panel, but none of the navigation elements in the header area. Although the navigation panel does not contain a detailed navigation iView, it can display related links and dynamic navigation.

Headerless navigation is implemented in the Ajax Headerless Framework Page . The page is not displayed in the Portal Catalog, and you can only access it from the Ajax Framework Page .

Currently the headerless navigation mode is available only to iViews and pages.
