Checking the Hardware and Operating System of the Host System (UNIX)
Procedure
Using the SAP Program sappfpar, you can check the profile of an application server and the hardware resources of the host.
Under UNIX, use the following syntax:
/usr/sap/<SYSTEM NAME>/SYS/exe/run/sappfpar check pf=/usr/sap/<SYSTEM NAME>/SYS/profile/<Profile name> nr=<System number> name=<Systemname> | more
where profile is the name of the profile that is to be used by the application server in question. The sappfpar program is located in the kernel library.
