If you have assembled a new software component archive (SCA), and approved it on the Approval tab page, CMS makes this SCA available to be imported into the next track.
If the version has been approved by quality management, you can also forward SCAs to a different track (regardless of any defined track connections). This enables you to ship the newest state of the software to this track.
You are in Transport Studio.
You have assembled and approved SCAs.
In the target track, the software component has been defined as a new software component or a predecessor software component.
To forward an SCA, proceed as follows:
On the Approval tab page, choose History .
In the Time Frame for History field, choose the time frame that you want to display SCAs for.
From your selection, select one or more list entries that you want to forward.
Choose Forward to Track . The Forward Component to Another Track dialog box appears.
Select the target track and choose Forward .
If a newer SCA already exists in the target track, you cannot forward the SCA.
You have forwarded one or more SCAs to a selected track. They can then be imported from the import queue of the development system.
