  2. In the context menu, choose Describe.

  3. Edit the name and the description of the activity.

Upload an activity

If you do not want the state of your activity to be visible to others (for example, it is not finished yet), but still want it to be safely stored in the server. The activity is stored in the database, but is still in the open state. You can use Forced Upload to force the upload if necessary.

In the context menu of the open activity, choose Upload .

Download an activity

To use this option, you must have already used Upload to store the version on the server; otherwise choose Sync .

You have checked out and edited a file and the activity is still open. To save those versions in the activity that are almost finished, you made an Upload .

Now you make a new change (still in the same activity). Later, these changes prove to be unnecessary. You can now simply download the last state of the upload and continue your work with this state.

Download - use this if you want to have content from the server available locally. The local contents are overwritten by the contents of the activity.

Check in an activity

Checkin - use this to store the content on the DTR. The new version of the resource becomes visible to other users. The activity is closed. After making the necessary changes to the resources, check in the open activity by choosing Check in in its context menu in the Open Activities view.

The check in makes the versions in the activity available on the server; the activity is now closed and can no longer be changed.

Delete an activity

Delete an activity to discard changes made to resources in the context of the activity.

The activity is in an open state.

Changes to all resources made in that activity are lost.

In the context menu of an activity, choose Delete.

All the changes made in the context of the activity are discarded. When an activity is deleted or unchecked out, for all the resources checked out in the context of the activity, the latest revision in the workspace is copied to the client workspace and the resource is no longer open for edit.

Reverting the changes made to a particular resource

To revert all changes made in an activity, in the context menu of the activity, choose Revert.

When a resource is reverted, the latest revision of the resource in the repository is copied to the client workspace and the resource is no longer open for edit.

Reverting all changes made in the context of an activity

To revert the changes made in the context of an activity, in the context menu of the activity, choose Revert Unchanged Items . This reverts all unchanged items in the context of the activity.

  2. Select an activity from the list. If there are no new activities create a new one.
